Humanitext Team to Present at the University of Bonn, Germany
We are pleased to announce that Naoya Iwata of the Humanitext project will be presenting our latest research at the University of Bonn, Germany, on November 6, 2025.
The presentation is part of the “XI. Atelier ‘Antikerezeption’,” a distinguished workshop series hosted by the Centre for the Classical Tradition (CCT) at the University of Bonn, known for fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on the reception of antiquity.
The title of the presentation is “Humanitext Antiqua: A Retrieval-Augmented AI Platform for Research in Western Classics.”
Presentation Abstract
The talk will provide a detailed overview of “Humanitext Antiqua,” the AI dialogue system developed by the Humanitext project, focusing on its technical foundations and its transformative potential for humanities research.
Building on our recent presentations (including RAG technology to prevent AI “hallucination” and our novel “Context-Oriented Translation” (COT) method to enhance search accuracy for Greek and Latin), this talk will engage with the European research community on how AI can contribute to the future of classical studies.
We are honored to share our work at the University of Bonn, a key center for Digital Humanities in Europe.
