The New Voices of Literary Giants: Dazai, Nakajima, and Kenji Bots Launched
10/3/2025

The Humanitext project is pleased to announce a new initiative to recreate the unique styles of literary masters: we have developed and launched three automated bots that emulate the writing of Osamu Dazai, Atsushi Nakajima, and Kenji Miyazawa. These bots utilize generative AI to capture the distinctive rhythms, vocabularies, and worldviews of each author, attempting to create new works in modern social media formats.
1. Osamu Dazai Bot: “#MorningPettySin”
Every morning, this bot confesses a single, “almost ridiculously trivial sin.” Far from being somber, it aims to evoke empathy by portraying the minor self-contradictions of daily life with a light, self-deprecating touch. It offers a warm perspective on human weakness to start the day.
2. Atsushi Nakajima Bot: “#ManTigerMiniDictionary”
The “inner tiger”—the pride and shame that dwells in everyone’s heart. This bot compiles a mini-dictionary, one entry per day, with terms related to this theme. The first line presents a tense, classical Chinese-style definition, while the second offers a modern interpretation to unravel its meaning. It seeks to provide a small catalyst for introspection.
3. Kenji Miyazawa Bot: “#IhatovMorningAssembly”
This bot offers a one-line poem of prayer and observation to all who are about to begin their modest daily labors. Through motifs characteristic of Miyazawa—the soil in the fields, the shape of the wind, the minerals by the roadside—it finds cosmic breadth and a quiet sacredness in everyday scenes. It delivers a serene and gentle inspiration at the start of the day.
In addition to their regular morning posts, these bots will also engage in other activities, such as commenting on news articles in the evening. We invite you to follow their experimental journey and see how the voices of these literary giants resonate with contemporary events.
